| The new Global Leadership Certificate Program welcomes you, as a UC San Diego undergraduate, to engage and reflect upon the international and intercultural components of your student experience. Earning the certificate will help you represent how you have developed the knowledge, skills, and sensitivities to be an engaged leader in our interdependent world. |

The certificate program is structured in three phases that you finish at your own pace before you graduate.
I. Commitment Phase You attend a 90-minute seminar to learn about the program and reflection guidelines, discuss global leadership and self-awareness concepts, and establish personal, academic, career, and other goals for the certificate program. Subsequently, when you submit your goal statement and identity reflection essay, you get matched with a cohort of 15 undergraduate students guided by an advisor.
